 I want introduce you with my lovely homeland!

 I’m from Kyrgyzstan! From the land  majestic snowy peaks, rocky gorges and the boundless valleys, gushing rivers, sparkling waterfalls and azure lakes, mountain meadows and emerald forests ...From the land of ancient civilization, habitant of nomads!

Through the whole territory of Kyrgyzstan lie the majestic Tien Shan and Pamir mountain systems with their famous and the highest peaks of the world, as the Victory Peak (7439 m), Lenin Peak (7134 m).

The capital of country is Bishkek. One of the biggest cities of Central Asia. It is a major industrial and cultural center, an important transportation hub. The city hosts the enterprise engineering, food and light industries, with universities and numerous research institutions. The population about 1 mln people.  Kyrgyzstan gained independence in 1991 after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

The country is home to more than 80 nations have created a rich diversity of cultures and traditions.

The most important sector of the Kyrgyz economy is agriculture, which divided into livestock and crop farming. Leading role in the industry of Kyrgyzstan played non-ferrous metallurgy and mining. Most importantly, the production of a gold mine "Kumtor".

Tourism is also an important sector of the economy. We are actively developing the most promising areas of tourism.  In Kyrgyzstan there are more than 5,000 historical and cultural monuments. Cave of prehistoric man, unique runic inscriptions on boulders, rock paintings and stone sculptures, remains of ancient settlements. . The national currency is the SOM, established in the 1993. 

Kyrgyz are very hospitable people. So do not worry if you pay a visit without an invitation. Kyrgyz traditionally served "Dastarkon" and guests are treated to traditional dishes which are mainly prepared from milk, meat and flour. "Beshbarmak" one of the national main dishes. The name means five fingers, as it should eat with hands. His recipe is very simple: boiled noodles in broth and finely crumbled meat on top. The pearl of Kyrgyzstan - Issyk-Kul, which means "hot lake" because it never freezes. It is situated at an altitude of 1,606 m and is the second largest alpine lake in the world, in addition, it can be seen from space. Next to the Issyk Kul there is another lake – “Salt lake” or  "Dead Lake.  Because of the high salt concentration nobody can drown, there is no insects and fish, and its mud is very useful. At the Sonkol lakeshore  there are Kyrgyz national dwelling - yurts. Yurt  is much more practical than tourist tents, quickly expanded and going, warm in winter, in summer - cool. It is where our nomadic ancestors lived, but it remains relevant to this day. Another point of attention is  Sonkol Lake, as it is located at an altitude of 3300 m at the confluence of the glaciers. Once a year the lake clears its waters, and the mystery of this phenomenon is still not completely solved.
